Oblivion

About his creative process:
This art piece started with a tree; this is the first time that I have completed a large abstract with a tree as the focal point. The tree means motherhood to me; the atom (molecule) represents the interconnectedness of the picture, the centre of the tree, controlling the tree, as the nucleus controls everything in the atom.

Once I had created the tree, the next focal point is the gates of heaven in the top left corner. The eye to the right of the picture is an Egyptian symbol to relate to the ancient civilization of mysteries, the eye serves to connect the individual mystery of what is beyond the gate for the viewer… Your eye, your perspective.
